Robert J. Moschel, Sr.

Robert J. Moschel, Sr. was born January 10, 1942 in New Castle, Indiana to the late Howard and Erma Smith Moschel and lived most of his life in Anne Arundel County. Mr. Moschel proudly served with the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam Conflict from 1966-1970. He was a member of the 1961 graduating class of Glen Burnie High School.

Robert worked as a Data Base Administrator for Anne Arundel County for 23 years, retiring in 2003. He attended Glen Burnie United Methodist Church. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, crabbing, trips to the ocean, tending his vegetable garden and playing scratch offs. He treasured time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his brother Gerald Moschel. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Margaret F. Wenck Moschel of Severn, sons Robert J. Moschel, Jr. of Hagerstown and Rodney J. Moschel of Ferndale as well as sister in law Dolly Moschel. Robert is also survived by 8 cherished grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He passed away peacefully and Baltimore Washington Medical Center and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
