Robert E. Rudy Sr.

On January 5, 2009, Robert “Bob” Eugene Rudy Sr. passed away at home of natural causes. Born on November 17, 1940, in Maryland, Bob was a resident of Glen Burnie for 43 years. Beloved husband of 41 years to Dolores J. Rudy; Loving father of Deborah A. Swords of Harford County, Jacqueline C. Downs of Baltimore City and Robert E. Rudy Jr. of Glen Burnie; Caring brother of Helen Pumphrey of Glen Burnie, Annamae Davidson of Severn, Thelma Dickson of Pasadena and the late Mary Crotchly; Cherished grandfather of four and great-grandfather of two; Devoted son of Miriam Rudy of Glen Burnie and the late Frank Rudy.

Bob served his country as a member of the United States Army. He worked as an auto mechanic until he retired. Bob enjoyed working on cars, watching Nascar and at one time he even raced cars himself. He was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and enjoyed riding his bike. Bob also liked to attend Native American Pow-wows.
