Robert Edward Zachry, Jr.

Robert Edward Zachry, Jr. of Glen Burnie was born on September 30, 1947 in Havre de Grace, MD to the late Robert E. Zachry, Sr. of Martha Buckman (nee Zelner). He was a lifetime resident of Anne Arundel County. Bob worked as a shipping supervisor for various distribution companies. An avid NASCAR fan, he was a fan of Dale Earnhardt and had visited all of the NASCAR Tracks. He also enjoyed cruising in his car, cooking and gardening. Mr. Zachry is survived by his stepfather Eldridge W. Buckman of Severna Park, brothers Ralph C. Zachry of Halethorpe and William E. Buckman of West Virginia as well as sisters Sharon E. Goldstein of Millersville, Martha D. Bressler of Brooklyn and Tracie Y. Dabkowski of Glen Burnie. He passed away peacefully on June 28 at the Crofton Care Center following an extended illness. Bob's family will gather privately to celebrate his life.
