In Loving Memory of Ronald William Lansaw
Fondly known as Grandpop/Gramps, Snuffy, and Mr. Ron, Ronald William Lansaw was born on October 16, 1946, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to the late William Asher Lansaw and Simona Bosc Lansaw. He made Maryland his home in 1990 and was a proud and devoted resident ever since.
Ron honorably served in the United States Air Force for over 25 years. After retiring from military service, he continued his commitment to hard work through roles at Shoreline Seafood in Gambrills, the Maryland Comptroller’s Office, and most recently, at Home Depot in Arbutus.
A passionate Chicago sports enthusiast, Ron never missed a chance to cheer for the Bears or the Cubs, though he enjoyed watching just about any sporting event. Known for his kind heart and friendly nature, he formed lasting bonds with many and was deeply devoted to his family. He especially loved supporting his grandchildren in all their activities and was a constant source of encouragement and love.
Ron was known to end his texts and calls with his loved ones by saying, “Alright, love you all.”
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 54 years, Maria A. Arvaniti Lansaw of Glen Burnie; his son Timothy Ronald Lansaw (Nicole) of Frederick; his daughter Anna Marie Lansaw (Ioannis Pitsis) of Odenton; and his treasured grandchildren: Krisula Staff (Taylor), Michail Pitsis, Marianthee Pitsis, Colin Lansaw, Ainsley Cragin, Addison Cragin, and Deuce Hamilton.
He will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
