Ronald Schenk

Ronald Brewer Schenk was born September 2, 1939 in Connecticut to the late Louis and Gaynell Schenk. Ronald Schenk was a longtime resident of Hyattsville and a very active member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Landover Hills. Mr. Schenk made his career as an electronics engineer for the federal government for the Architect of the Capitol. In his free time he liked to keep busy, helping out at the church, hanging out with family and friends, and at the church school fixing anything that needed it, he was fondly known as the church and school handyman. Mr. Schenk was famous for being able to fix basically anything.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Schenk was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jean Schenk, and his son Keith Schenk. Left to cherish his memory are his children Kevin Schenk(Arlene), Kirsten Budd(Kenneth), siblings Lynn Schenk(Roxanne), Daryll Schenk(Dotty), grandchildren David, Daniel(Deni), Kevin, Korey, and Kobey, and great-grandchildren Connor and Charlie. Mr. Schenk passed away on May 12, 2020 at Baltimore-Washington Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at Ascension Lutheran Church at a later date.
