Ronald J. Tippin

Ronald James Tippins, 62, died Friday, October 9, 2009 after a short illness.  He was born in Baltimore, MD on December 11, 1946.  He moved to Houston, Texas in 1986 and then to Hendersonville in 1992 with his sister, Barbara and brother in law, Richard. Ron will always be remembered for his infectious smile, his hugs and the fact that everyone was his friend.  He touched many lives and brought joy to those who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel and Raleigh Tippins.  He is survived by his loving sister, Barbara Adams and her husband Richard; and also his many friends, especially the wonderful staff and residents of his group home (UMAR-Givens Estates) in Asheville.
