Rosa Castro

Rosa Castro was born in Puerto Rico on December 8, 1945 to the late Cresencio Castro and Francesca Jimenez Castro. She has lived in various locations in the United States since 1993 before settling in Glen Burnie. A homemaker, she was a member of Jerusalem Temple Baptist Church and in her space time she enjoyed cooking and sewing and helping others. Her family said her door was always open if someone needed help.
In addition to her parents Rosa is preceded in death by her husband Herman Montalvo, her daughter Luz Maria Flores and several of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by children Hector L. Flores of Rochester, NY, Maria L. Pizarro of Falls Church, VA and Francez Riley or Little Rock. AK. Mrs. Castro is also survived by brothers Basilio Castro of Lima, Peru and Jose Manuel Castro of Rochester, New York and sisters Mariana Benitez, Bernadela Figueroa, Luz Maria Reyes, Heneida Castro and Ana Gloria Gagnon, all of Rochester, NY as well as 8 adoring grandchildren with her first greatgrandchild on the way.  She passed away at Genesis Health of Severna Park following an illness of several months.
