Rose A. Cannon

On April 25, 2011, Rose A. Cannon of Glen Burnie passed away at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 81. Beloved daughter of the late William and Ursula Goedeke, she was also predeceased by four brothers and six sisters. Rose is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and caring family members.

Rose worked as a Telephone Operator for AT&T Telephone Company for 36 years. After retirement she volunteered her time at various organizations such as SHARE, NCEON and Meals on Wheels. Rose enjoyed gardening and would can pickles and other items. She enjoyed crafts and was a very talented quilt maker. Rose enjoyed playing bingo and baking Jewish apple cakes for her friends and for church functions. She was a member of St. Bernadettes Catholic Church.
