Rose Marie Jenkins

Rose Marie Jenkins, 78, died in her home surrounded by her family, August 20, 2015. She was born August 29, 1936 to the late James and Alma (Floyd) Fredericks in Baltimore. She was a bus aide with the Anne Arundel County Public Schools for years, helping children with their needs. Rose was a longtime member of Granite Baptist Church before moving to Garret County; Swanton, Maryland in 2000. Family was her main concern and absolutely loved being surrounded by them. She is preceded by her parents and siblings. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Arthur L. Jenkins, Sr. of Swanton; children, Rosemary Jeanette Jenkins of Pasadena, Arthur L. Jenkins, Jr. of Glen Burnie, Linda Marie Jenkins of Pasadena, Diane Lynn Puller of Oakland, Kathy Lee Gascon of Grasonville, Steven Vincent Jenkins of Pasadena, Eric Steven Jenkins of Pasadena, David Allen Ritter of Arbutus and Jeannette Marie Grimaldi of Glen Burnie; sisters, Anna Hatcher , Lillian Brock, Mary Fowlkes, Judy Gowens, Tina Pease; brother, James Fredericks; 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Friends and family may call at the KIRKLEY-RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME, PA. on Monday, 3-5 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service Tuesday, 12pm at the funeral home. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.
