Rose Marie Mulligan, 94, Glen Burnie resident, died under hospice care at the Harbour Hospital, on Saturday, July 13, 2024. Rose was born on Thursday, May 1, 1930, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Gilbert P. and Helen L. (Moore) Brown, Sr. She graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1948 and retired as a Lab Technician at Mercy Hospital. In her spare time, Rose enjoyed crafts, reading and of course, antiquing. Rose had several shops throughout the area over time, all filled with items of the past. She enjoyed having the Antique Shops, meeting lots of people and hearing their stories about the antiques they remembered or what their family had. Rose also enjoyed Christmas, a peaceful time with family.
Rose is preceded by her parents, Gilbert P. Brown, Sr. and Helen L. (Moore) Brown; and her husbands, Estill H. Ray and James R. Mulligan. She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Darlene Burket (Robert) of Seaford, DE. and Kathleen Ann Ward of Seaford, DE.; her sister, Helen Dick of Eldersburg, MD; her sister-in-law, Dolores Brown of Annapolis, MD; her 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Graveside service, Wednesday, July 17th, 2pm at the Glen Haven Memorial Park, Glen Burnie, MD.
