Roxi Lynne Topper

March 15, 1956 — April 14, 2024

Linthicum

We are sad to announce the passing of Roxi Lynne Topper, age 68, of Linthicum Heights, Maryland. Roxi died peacefully in her sleep on April 14, 2024, at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Roxi passed away surrounded by her loved ones after battling heart disease and congestive heart failure.

Roxi was born on Thursday, March 15, 1956, in Beeville, Texas, to Darrall K. and Mary Christine (Sullivan) Johanson. Roxi moved from Texas to Maryland in her youth, but always stayed true to her Texas roots. Roxi graduated from Arundel High School in 1974, and upon graduation she pursued professional photography and travelled the world taking amazing photographs. On July 31, 1999, she married Michael, and resided in Severn with her children, Taylor, Cole, and Caitlin and various animals. Roxi had a way with animals, but she had a particular fondness for horses. Roxi could best be characterized as easy-going, laid back and she was kind to all. Roxi was an optimist with an upbeat attitude; a true peacemaker and she loved people unconditionally despite their faults. Roxi had a way of helping the helpless, and she was the person many went to when they were struggling. Roxi’s signature dishes were her pecan pie and potato salad.

Roxi is preceded by her brother, Kevin Williams, and survived by her parents, Darrall K. Williams and Mary Christine (Sullivan) Johanson; her husband, Michael Topper; her children, Taylor Jae Kane (Shawn) of Linthicum and Johnny Cole Owens of Pasadena; stepdaughter, Caitlin Elizabeth Panzarella (Johnathan) of Crofton; half siblings, Darrall Williams of Kerrville, TX and Jenny Williams of San Antonio, TX; and nine grandchildren: Eden, Maddy, Addy, Easton, Jameson, Greyson, Harper, JJ, and Austin. Roxi is also survived by extended family, including her aunt and many cousins, who loved her dearly.

Family and friends may call at the Kirkley Ruddick Funeral Home on Sunday, April 21st, from 1pm - 4pm. Funeral service to follow immediately at 4pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to The Rocking R Rescue and Ranch, Inc. in Mississippi: https://rockingr.networkforgood.com/projects/102683-main-giving-page
