Ruth V. Bennett

Ruth V. Bennett, a lifetime resident of Glen Burnie, passed away on December 19, 2015.  Ruth was born in Glen Burnie to the late Gilbert Michael and Mary Louise (Brady) Bass on November 10, 1928.  She was a graduate of Glen Burnie High School’s class of 1945 and was a member of The Glen Burnie United Methodist Church.  Ruth was involved in the class reunion committee at GBHS as well as the GBIA and AARP.  She enjoyed traveling, reading, going to the beach and spending time with her grandchildren.  Mrs. Bennett is survived by her son, Glenn Edward Bennett, Jr. of Glen Burnie; daughters, Laura Anne Denny of Pagosa Springs, Co, Susan M. Bennett of Oxford, OH; grandchildren, Jacqui Teuscher, Glenn M. Bennett, Brandi Martin, Kolya Matteo; great grandchildren, Charlotte Teuscher, Tony Martin, Jr., Eddie Matteo and Vincent Matteo.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn E. Bennett, Sr.; brother, Gilbert E. Bass and sister, Doris Redora Burkmar.
