Ruth Wheeler

Ruth "Iona" Wheeler passed away on January 7th. Mrs. Wheeler was born in Baltimore to the late Charles W. Davis and the late Ruth Iona Baker (nee Crum). Iona was a member of the Friendship Circle at Linthicum United Methodist Church and enjoyed bowling, reading, spending time with her grandkids and she also remained close with her childhood friends known as the "West End Kids". She is survived by her daughters; Laurie A. Bush and her husband Keith of Pasadena and Julie A. Folkemer and her husband James of Pasadena,; brother, Wayne Baker of Salisbury; sisters, Elizabeth Walters of Linthicum, Joan Sorensen of Greenville, SC and Susan Tarr of Waynesboro, PA and her adoring grandchildren Meghann and Mackenna Bush, Pamela Grant and Matthew Folkemer and her newborn great-grandson Lucas Grant. Iona is preceded in death by her husband Norbert A. Wheeler and her sister Pauline Stevens.
