Sadie E. Strauss

Sadie E. Strauss, a lifetime resident of Anne Arundel County, passed away on November 19, 2015.  Born in Baltimore, Maryland on April 16, 1920 to the late Phillip and Mary Louise Blottenberger.  Sadie was a member of Marley United Methodist Church and enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching TV.  She is survived by her daughter, Ellen L. Reinhardt of Glen Burnie; 6 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin L. Strauss, Sr.; son, Melvin L. Strauss, Jr. and granddaughter, Kimberly Reinhardt.    Friends and family may call at the family owned Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home, P.A. on Sunday, November 22nd from 3-9 P.M.  Funeral Service to be held at the funeral home on November 23rd 11:00 A.M.  Interment in Glen Haven Memorial Park to follow service.
