Shannon Marie Howard

Born Shannon Marie Tracey in Baltimore on January 11, 1976 to Thomas William Tracey, Jr. and Teresa Tracey. Shannon Howard grew up in Glen Burnie and graduated from Glen Burnie High School. Shannon also attended Strayer Business College and Anne Arundel Community College. Shannon liked to travel and explore new places. She moved with her family to numerous states as an adult, which included Ohio, Texas and Virginia Beach. She worked in numerous areas of the medical support field during her career. In her youth, Shannon loved sports and cheerleading. She continued to play softball as an adult. Shannon loved the beach and loved spending time with her children and friends. Anyone who knew her would say Shannon was a strong willed and determined woman. She also had compassion for others and never missed an opportunity to help others in need.

Shannon Marie Howard passed away unexpectedly on May 25, 2021. Shannon’s father Thomas William Tracey, Jr. preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory are her mother Teresa Tracey of Glen Burnie, sons Tyrone Henderson of Glen Burnie, Jesse Howard, IV of Martinsburg, WV, and Kayden Howard of Martinsburg, WV, daughters Cassidy Howard of Martinsburg, WV and Keleyse Howard of Glen Burnie. She also left behind her brother Thomas William Tracey, III of Glen Burnie, sisters Deanna Trask of Ardentsville, PA, Worthy Rock of Gettysburg, PA and Charlotte Mullinix of Glen Burnie and many friends. Shannon touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, June 12th, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will begin 4:00 pm. Interment private.
