SherrieLee Schnaubelt (Hall), 83, resident of Glen Burnie, died peacefully in her home on July 5, 2015. She was born April 20, 1932 to the late Erma (Buell) and Hiram Wiser in Hermick, NY. SherrieLee worked for the Anne Arundel County Public Schools in the cafeteria; mostly at Old Mill Middle School North. She has been a member of St. Bernadette's Church on Stevenson Road for decades and was very involved with them; she loved going on their bus trips. She was also involved with AARP, the community in which she lived and dinner clubs. She was very social, always on the go; traveling, going on cruises or casino trips with her friends. When she was at home she loved to watch the National Geographic or the Animal Planet Channels but everyone knew not to call during her favorite show that she NEVER missed, Jeopardy. She was also known for doing crossword puzzles in pen, not pencil! SherrieLee is preceded by her parents, her husband, Werner Conrad Schnaubelt and children; Eugene Schnaubelt, Bruce Schnaubelt and Leslie Thurner. She is survived by her children; David Schnaubelt of Houston, TX, Scott Schnaubelt and wife Cindy of Savannah, TX, Arthur Schnaubelt and wife Trischa of Severna Park, Melinda Childress and husband Ed Sr. of Glen Burnie, Joylinn Schnaubelt and husband Bill Buzzard of New York, and Kimberly Schnaubelt and husband Marc Orth of Glen Burnie; Son-in-law Patrick Thurner of Glen Burnie; grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 5. Friends may call at the KIRKLEY-RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME, PA. on Thursday, July 9, from 3-5 & 7-9pm. A Catholic Mass of christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 10, at St. Bernadette's Church at 11:30am. Interment will be held at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery following the Mass.
