Sherry Y. Anderson

April 14, 1964 — April 18, 2019

Our beloved, Mrs. Sherry Yvonne Warfield Anderson, went home to be with the lord during this Easter season. Her faith has become sight on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at her home in Glen Burnie Maryland.

She placed her faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of Mt. Zion missionary Baptist in Vicksburg M.S. She always loved and enjoyed the simple things in life, as she was raised by a Godly mother, who instilled a lifelong foundation filled with morals and wisdom, helping her grow as a daughter, sister, mother, and most importantly a Christian. Her favorite time of the year being the Christmas season because she loved creating various crafts such as center pieces and floral décor which she'd gift to all her family and friends. She loved to sing whether it is in the choir alongside her husband or acapella in the comfort of her own home. Her smile and laugh easily filled the room. She would help those around her see the goodness in others and more importantly within themselves.

Mrs. Sherry Anderson’s education began at Kings Elementary and continued when she attended Warren Central Jr. & Sr. High school. She was able to complete her A.S. Degree in Drafting at Utica Jr. College in M.S.

Mrs. Anderson was known far and wide as a human of integrity and of great faith. She was a faithful wife and devoted mother. She shared ministry between two churches, the first, Temple Baptist, where she served 30 years. She participated in teaching Sunday school/VBS classes, singing in the choir and conducting small group bible studies. She also served as a Lydian Lady, who would help with plan various events, her favorite event being the elegant banquets. The second, Granite Baptist Church where she was a committed attendee. She made everlasting friendships within the Cornerstone bible studies and bus ministry. One of her favorite actives was using her gift of singing to go caroling with the other members during the Christmas season.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Sherry Y. Anderson was predeceased by her son Caleb Anderson. She leaves to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Anthony Anderson, of 31 years, her children Mia, Rachel, and Maachah Anderson of Glen Burnie, MD. her father Jessie Warfield Sr. of Vicksburg MS and his wife Gladys Warfield (nee Jones), her sisters Jacqueline Jones of Albion, MI, Deborah Smith (James) of Vicksburg MS , Pamela Durman (Vincent) of Vicksburg MS, Sandra Wyatt (Brian) of Jackson MS, her brothers, Jessie Warfield Jr., Rodney Warfield (Leonia), and Michael Warfield, a host of cousins, nephews, and nieces. Mrs. Anderson will always be remembered and genuinely loved by her family.

As we go through life, we hold words of the ones we love dear to our hearts; Mrs. Sherry Yvonne Warfield Anderson leaves us with this bible verse from Proverbs 3:5-6. [5] Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. [6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
