Born Shirley E. Joyner on June 2, 1925 in Baltimore, MD to Russell and Hazel (Davis) Joyner. She lived in Baltimore until moving to Glen Burnie in 1965. She worked as a billing clerk for the Ramsey-Scarlett Company in Baltimore prior to her retirement. She was a former Elder at the Lakeland Presbyterian Church where she remains a member. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and oil painting in her spare time. In addition to her parents, she is preceeded in death by her husband F. Malcolm St. John and a brother Russell Joyner. Shirley is survived by her sons Douglas B. St. John of Salisbury, MD and John D. St. John of Glen Burnie and grandson Paul D. St. John. She passed away peacefully at Baltimore Washington Medical Center after being in declining health for several years. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
