Shirley R. Thomas

Born Shirley R. Warfield in Glen Burnie on November 8, 1928 to the late Lester Warfield, Sr. and Edna Zimmerman (nee Griffith). A lifetime resident of the area and a graduate of Glen Burnie High School, she attended Glen Burnie Meth. Ch.. She enjoyed walking, bowliing and caring for her home and family. In addition to her parents Mrs. Thomas is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years when he passed away in 2016 Walter L. Thomas and a daughter Kipp L. Harman. Left to cherish her memory are daughters Sharon L. Thomas Sutherland of Oakland, MD & Cynthia L. Kutlik of Elkton, MD, brother Lester Warfield, Jr. of Annapolis and sister Carole Bosley of Ocean City. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5-great grandchildren.  There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
