Stanley W. Miller Sr.

On August 4, 2009, Stanley W. Miller Sr. of Linthicum passed away at the age of 87.  Born on August 16, 1921 in Baltimore, Stanley has lived in Linthicum for almost 60 years.  Dearest son of the late Robert T. and Lula V. (nee Payne) Miller; Beloved husband of the late Hallie G. Miller; Loving father of Stanley Jr. of Bedford, PA, Lola J. Sullivan of Linthicum and Gail J. Thrasher of Catonsville; Caring brother of Albert Miller of Pasadena , Kenneth Miller of TN and the late Robert J. Miller of Linthicum; Cherished grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 14.  He was a member of Linthicum UMC, AARP, Bowie Golf Club and the Ventnor Yacht Club.  Stanley enjoyed golf, boating, cards and loved to travel.  He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy.  He later worked as a foreman for United Iron & Metal.
