Stephen J. Krupnik, Jr.

Stephen J. Krupnik, Jr. was born November 1, 1931 in Pennsylvania to the late Stephen J. Krupnik, Sr. and Julia Krupnik (nee Witkowski) and has lived most of his life in Maryland The oldest of 10 children, he proudly served in the Army during the Korean Conflict after graduating in the class of 1951 of Mt. St. Joseph High School.  Together with his late brother John he started a family roofing company, Krupnik Brothers Roofing in Glen Burnie in 1957.  Mr. Krupnik enjoyed fishing, going to his beach house, going out to dinner, attending church and spending time with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends and he enjoyed his evening Crown Royal with his son-in-law Howard. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Janet Dale Krupnik (Ocock) and his son Steven Allan Krupnik,  sister Mary Lou Joines and brothers John,  Stan and Tommy Krupnik.  Stephen is survived by children Kathryn Ann Krupnik Gell of Severn and her husband Thomas, Dede Krupnik Willis of Severn and her husband Howard, Dawn Frances Mostaan of Virginia and her husband Micky, Rosie Hesse of Texas and her husband Mike, Step-son Shawn R. Diniz of Crownsville and his wife Stephanie, step-daughter Melissa Diniz of Hanover, MD and dear friend Mary Lou Grim, He is also survived by brother William Krupnik of VA, Helen Sheckells of Ocean City, MD, Patricia Schonlaw of Michigan, Therese Krupnik of Baltimore & Suzi Miller of North Carolina as well as adoring grandchildren Shawn C. Gell, Jennifer L. Longmore and her husband Tom, Matthew R. Willis and his wife Clarissa, Mark C. Willis and his wife Kelly, Troy R. Mostaan, Michael A. Mostaan, Nicholas R. Mostaan, Cathy Jo Hesse and Stephen E. Hesse. Step-grandchildren Shawn R. Diniz, Jr., Sierra Diniz, Samantha Diniz and Joseph Foster as well as great-grandchildren Aubrey A. & Gavin T. Longmore, Emme R and Ellie C. Willis and many others that called him dad or pop-pop.  He died peacefully surrounded by his family at Anne Arundel Medical Center after being in declining health for several months.
