Stuart D. Auld was born September 21, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Alexander Beverage Auld and Marie Bruclos Auld. He was a resident of Maryland for over 65 years and has lived in Baltimore for many years. Mr. Auld received his B.S. from Utah State University. He proudly
served in the U.S. Army from 1952-1960 and was awarded the Purple Heart for his service in the Korean War. During his working life he served as a contract negotiator for Westinghouse. He was a fitness buff who lifted weights and exercised even in his later years. Mr. Auld was a mentor to younger people and was always a caring person to everyone he knew. He enjoyed researching things that interested him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his sister Marilyn Garner.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 66 years Flora Kirkley Auld and his loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews who were very special to him. Mr. Auld passed away in his home surrounded by family.
Family and friends may call at the KIRKLEY RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Monday, October 2nd, 4-7pm. Funeral service, Tuesday, October 3rd, 11am at Kirkley Ruddick Funeral Home. Interment immediately following at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
