Born Suzelle M. Coad on November 16, 1936 in Washington, D.C. to Joseph Blanford Coad and Mildred Rawlings Coad. A 1958 graduate of the University of MD with a degree in history, Mrs. Bevers worked as a library assistant at the Nimitz Library on the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis for 26 Years before her retirement in 2006. She also worked part time at the AMF Southdale Bowling Center where she would, as she put it, "take care of her bowlers". She also worked as an Avon Lady. A resident of Glen Burnie for 51 Years her family remembers the many elections she served as a Republican Poll Worker. An avid reader, Sue especially enjoyed Crime Novels, History, Politics, listening to talk radio. But the jewel in her crown was the time she enjoyed with her grandchildren. She marveled at how different each one was. She is survived by her son Henry Bevers of Baltimore and his wife Charlotte, Daughters Lisa B. Francisco and her husband Bob of Severn and Deborah J. Gaines of Russell, KY. She is also survived by seven loving grandchildren. She passed away peacefully at her daughter's home after suffering with lung problems for some time.
