Thelma E. Clark

Thelma Elizabeth Clark, 55, lifelong Maryland resident, died under hospice care on Thursday, November 21, 2024, with her family by her side. Thelma was born on Tuesday, February 4, 1969, in Baltimore, Maryland to Bernard Emery and Thelma Elizabeth (Wood) Clark. She was a custodian for Anne Arundel County Public Schools for several years. Thelma enjoyed classic cars, drag racing, listening to country music and some classic rock. She had a great love for her birds and her chihuahuas. Thelma always supported Veteran causes and loved our flag/country. She was very family oriented and loved her family deeply and absolutely adored her grand puppies. Her family and friends will surely miss her.

Thelma is preceded by her parents, Bernard Emery Clark and Thelma Elizabeth (Wood) Clark; her brother Joseph Zahner and her sister, Sarah Zahner. She is survived by her husband, Lee Holten Phillips, Sr. of Severn; and her children, Howard Forney of Severn, Lee H. Phillips, Jr. (Destynie) of Severn and Victoria Garrett (Jason) of Tennessee.

A private memorial service will be held to celebrate her life with close family and friends.
