He was born to Frederick Hemstetter and Edna (nee Ford) Hemstetter. Devoted husband of the late Viola Lydia (nee Kammerer) Hemstetter. Caring father of Thomas D. Hemstetter, Jr. of Millersville and Susan C. Wilson of Edgewater. Loving Grandfather of Matthew Kleier and Jodi Kleier.
