On December 4, 2009, Thomas Leo Kane of Linthicum passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 85. Devoted husband of 61 years to Gloria F. Kane (nee Gehring); Beloved father of Carol A. Clevenger of Queenstown, Thomas M. Kane of Arbutus and Deborah A. Spuduck of Denton; Caring brother of Lorraine Huber of Pasadena, Patsy Ridgeway of Pasadena, Mary Shickman and Joan Thorton of Baltimore; Dearest brother-in-law of James Gehring of Millersville; Cherished grandfather of 6 and adoring great-grandfather of two. Tom was predeceased by his siblings Dorothy Kane and Bernard Johnson. Tom was born in Maryland on February 3, 1924 and lived in Linthicum for 56 years. He proudly served in the United States Army and later worked for Maryland Dry Dock as a fabricator until he retired in the early 80’s. Tom belonged to the American Legion, the VFW, the Moose Lodge and the Ferndale Community Club. He enjoyed watching football, fishing, listening to music and building a variety of things. Tom also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
