Thomas William Russell Sr.

On December 18, 2009, Thomas William Russell Sr. passed away.  Born in Maryland, Tom was a lifelong resident of Glen Burnie.  He worked as a carpenter for the local #544 and #101.  He was a handyman that could do a little bit of everything.  He enjoyed being a member of the Ravens Roost #65 in Pasadena.  Tom loved to rebuild cars and was especially proud of his 1969 Camaro.  He loved his faithful companion Aliceann who was a very spoiled Bassett hound.  Most especially, Tom loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren.

Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 11 years, Fern Russell; his loving children Cheryl Saumenig and husband Tony of Pasadena, Thomas Jr. and his wife Lisa of the Eastern Shore, step-son Joseph Sniadach of Glen Burnie; caring brother of Phyllis Rohrback of Glen Burnie, John Russell of Severna Park, Maryanne Lang of Pasadena and Ramona Wesley of Hanover; Adoring grandfather of six and great-grandfather of one.  Tom was predeceased by his late wife Joanne Russell, his daughter Karen Ellis and his siblings Margaret Knipp and Charles Clifford Russell Jr.
