Thomas Edmund Schmidt

Thomas E. Schmidt, 83, of Annapolis, MD, passed away peacefully in his home on February 16, 2018.

Tom was born in 1934, in Ashland, PA. He was an avid fisherman, sports fan and animal lover who was known for his quick wit and love of the great outdoors. His hobbies included carving duck decoys, as well as painting, swimming and tying flies for trout fishing.

Tom was preceded in death by his wife Alice Leila Schmidt. He was beloved as father and T-Pa to children, Rebecca Harmon-jones, Linda Harmon Bowman (Timothy), and Wayne Harmon (Cathy), 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Wednesday , from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM , with prayer service to immediately follow, at Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home, 421 Crain Hwy S, Glen Burnie, MD 21061 . In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Golden Retriever Rescue or Labrador Retriever Rescue.
