On October 11, 2012, Thomas Frank Toth passed away at home. He was 88. Born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, he attended Pottsville High School and graduated in 1941. Tom lived in Glen Burnie for 36 years and in New York prior to that. Tom proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army and worked for the railroad until he retired. He was an active member of Equality Maryland and was an advocate for gay rights. He also loved to play tennis. Tom is survived by his beloved spouse and companion of 29 years, Lawrence R. Esser; his loving niece Vicki Fick and his adoring great-niece Amy Fick and great-nephew Eric Fick. He is predeceased by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
