Thurma D. Robl

Thurma D. Robl was born in Perkins, Missouri on Thursday, January 22, 1925, to Vernon and Mary (Marcus) Carr. Thurma moved to Maryland in 1943 at the age of 18. On August 11, 1944, she married the love of her life, Charles J. Robl, Jr. Thurma was a member of the Linthicum Baptist Church for many years. She was a homemaker and loved babies, which she often took care of throughout the years. Thurma also loved crocheting and baking, especially her coconut and hot milk cakes. She will be greatly missed by many.

Thurma is preceded by her parents, Vernon Carr and Mary (Marcus) Carr; husband, Charles J. Robl, Jr.; and her siblings, Vernice, Gladys, Mae, Norma, Ivan, Vernon and Ted. She is survived by her children, Phyllis V. Amend, Denise M. Bavaria (Gary) and Charles J. Robl, III. (Barbara); 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be Friday, January 21, 2022, 12:30pm, at the Glen Haven Memorial Park.
