Tommie Shires, 84, residing in Genesis Care of Elkton, died December 27, 2013. He was born May 17, 1929 to Harry and Edna (Cosner) Shires in Rising Sun. He was a long time member of the Calvert Pines Senior Center. He enjoyed bowling, pool, horseshoes, baseball, fishing, crabbing, hunting, traveling, especially day trips. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn L. (Fitzpatrick) Shires; daughters, Lori Warriner and her husband Joel, Linda Seymour, Kathy Mahlstedt, Debbie Watkins; sons, Tommie and Johnny Shires; brothers, twin, Paul Shires, Bill Shires and Jim Shires.
