Valentina Yorro

Valentina Yorro (Tina) was born in New York, NY on August 25, 1957, to Gloria Fonseca and Felipe Pagan and was raised by her mother and stepfather, Benerando Nuñez.

On Sunday November 28, 2021, Tina and Digno Yorro Jr. both tragically lost their lives. Tina was a 64-year-old mother of three, and a grandmother to six amazing grandchildren. Tina was very involved in her family‘s lives and also a very active member of her church, Iglesia El Sendero De La Cruz, and community. Tina worked a variety of jobs over the years, but her passion has always been helping kids and volunteering at schools for kids with special needs. Anyone that had the chance to work with her remembered what a kind and caring person she was. She always loved to cook and traveled often. Her two daughters, Shirley and Gloria, described her as a Super Mom and Yaya. She would help anyone who needed it and inspired so many.
Tina will be missed dearly! She was an angel on earth, and now a true angel in heaven still looking out for everyone.

Tina is preceded by her parents, Felipe Pagan and Gloria E. Fonseca; husband Digno Ramon Yorro and son, Digno R. Yorro, Jr. She is survived by her daughters Shirley Yorro and Gloria Senn; Her sisters Elizabeth Fonseca and Yolanda Pagan; her brother Philip Wingfield; and her six grandchildren Stephen and Lucas Sevastos, Seanna, Ethan and Elijah Senn, and Raychel Yorro.
