Viola F. Gentry

Born Viola Florence Knotts in Shaw, WV on August 27, 1942 to the late Mr. John James Knotts and the late Eula Jane(Stemple) Knotts. Mrs. Viola lived in Glen Burnie, MD since 1960 with her beloved husband Michael Gentry.  She was a bank clerk. In her free time she enjoyed crocheting and doing needlepoint. Mrs. Viola also enjoyed reading books and watching television.

In addition to her parents, Viola is predeceased by her husband Michael  Gentry and her brothers  Roy, Franklin and Charles Knotts. She is survived by her brother Clifford Knotts of Elk Garden, WV, her sisters Mildred Moreland of Elk Garden, WV, Rachel Monda of Glen Burnie, MD, sister-in-law Angela Wyckoff of Ellicott City, MD and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Viola Gentry passed away following a brief illness at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center on June 14, 2018.

Friends may call on Sunday, June 17, 7-9 PM with services on Monday, June 18, 11 AM at the family owned Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home, 421 Crain Hwy. S.E., Glen Burnie, MD 21061. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
