Virginia Oliver Bloomfield

Virginia Oliver Bloomfield, 95, resident of Glen Burnie, died peacefully surrounded by her family on February 6, 2016. She was born January 8, 1920 in Providence, Rhode Island to the late John and the late Mildred (Oliver) Crehan. Virginia was a teacher for the Anne Arundel County Public School System and a member of St. Bernadette Church. She loved playing bridge but her true passion was her family. Virginia is preceded by her parents; siblings; husband, John Daniel Bloomfield; son, Jay Gordon Bloomfield and grandson John "Johnny" Michael Bloomfield. She is survived by her children, Richard Alan Bloomfield, Phillip Reid Bloomfield and Barbara Marie Canavan; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and one on the way.
Friends and family may celebrate her life at a Memorial Mass on Friday, April 5, 2016 10:00 A.M.  at the St. Bernadette Catholic Church , 801 Stevenson Road, Severn, Maryland 21144.
