Mrs. Virginia A. Legg was born in Baltimore, MD on November 26, 1931 to the late Mr. Walter Johnson and Mrs. Margaret Johnson. Virginia was a lifelong resident of Anne Arundel County. She worked as a housekeeper and babysitter at Royal Furniture. She was an active member St. John’s Lutheran Church in Brooklyn before joining St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Go Getters, and the Women's Aux of VFW 2462. Virginia did volunteer work calling the elderly and organized parties at Glen Square. She enjoyed drawing, painting, crocheting and doing crafts. Virginia also enjoyed traveling, making Christmas cards for all at Glen Square, going to church, listening to music, crabbing, and swimming.
Mrs. Virginia Legg passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 24, 2018 at Fairfield Nursing Home in Crownsville, MD. In addition to her parents, Virginia is predeceased by her husband Bernard L. Legg and her sisters Jean Gelwicks and Betty Plitt. She leaves behind her children Margaret Hoffman of Severna Park and Charles Bisesi of Glen Burnie, brother Walter Johnson of Pasadena, granddaughters Kimberly Monfreda and Ashlea Bisesi, and great-granddaughter Nicole Monfreda. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake.
