Virginia Lynn Padgette

Virginia Lynn Padgette was born on Tuesday, May 27, 1958 in Maryland to Carroll Naff and Rita Jean (Manuel) Barnes. Lynn has been a Maryland resident her entire life and was also a member of the Faith Baptist Church. She worked for over 25 years as Manager for Shoppers. She also worked for the last 5 years or more as the administrative assistant at the Glen Burnie Moose Lodge. She LOVED SHOPPING; so much that at times it was hard for her to pass up a good deal. She also couldn't wait to see Elton John in concert; one of her favorite singers. Lynn also loved bowling in her earlier years, going to the beach and being surrounded by family and friends. She sorely missed her husband the last couple of years and now she will be sorely missed also by so many.

Lynn is preceded by her parents, Carroll Naff Barnes and Rita Jean (Manuel) Barnes; her loving husband, Thomas James Padgette and her sister, Becky J. Hopewell. She is survived by her children, Jason T. Padgette (Laura) of Glen Burnie, Crystal L. Padgette (Philip) of Glen Burnie, Connie J. Blevins (Brian) of Glen Burnie and Stephanie A. Molony (Kevin) of Pasadena; stepmother, Doris Barnes of Halethorpe; brother, Terry Barnes (Cindy) of Waldorf; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and a dear Aunt of 4 girls.

Family and friends may gather at the KIRKLEY-RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME for a memorial gathering, Saturday, 10am - 12pm. Memorial Service to begin immediately at 12pm. Interment private.
