Virginia D. White

Born Virginia a. Doty in Bridgeport, CT  on July 18, 1925 to the late Charles Nelson Dory and Jeannette Emily Victory Becker, she was a resident of Severn for 68 Years. A homemaker, Virginia was a longtime member of the Chesapeake Gem and Mineral Society in Baltimore. She loved traveling the country with her husband Earl collecting her geodes. She also enjoyed handwork, reading, music and gardening. Earl passed away over 30 years ago but their time together remained the light of her life.  She is survived by a son Gary A. White, brothers James Decker, Sr. and his wife Muriel of Stratford, CT and Joey Becker of MA, sister in law Carol Becker and numerous nieces and nephews in New England and other parts of the country. Virginia will be buried alongside Earl at Crownsville MD Veterans Cemetery in a private service.
