Weldon Warren Ward, Jr.

Weldon Warren Ward, Jr. was born on December 7, 1928 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Weldon W. Ward, Sr. and Ethel May Goble Ward.  He was a resident of Glen Burnie from the age of 2. Mr. Ward received his B.S. in Engineering from the University of Maryland and was employed as an engineer and manager at Baltimore Gas and Electric for 40 years. He was an active member of Glen Burnie United Methodist Church, Arundel Vocal Arts Society, Arundel House of Hope and he was a member of the Institute of Electric and Electronic Engineers. He was an avid sports fan, he enjoyed photography and in earlier days hunting, but he had a true passion for music, from classical to church to blue grass. In addition to his parents Weldon is preceded by his son Frank W. Ward and granddaughter Melissa Listman-Ward. Left to cherish his memory are the love of his life Ruby L. Frankheart Ward, his son John W. Ward of Glen Burnie and cherished grandchildren Brittany and Paul Listman-Ward, Jessica Leverage, Jennifer Galvin and Justin Ward. Memorial contributions to Glen Burnie United Methodist Church will be appreciated by the family.
