Wilda Faye Helton

Wilda Faye Helton, 72, died at Gilchrist Hospice on July 25, 2010.  Wilda was a resident of Baltimore since 2004, previously living in Glen Burnie from 1974-2004.  Wilda was born on March 3, 1938 in  Chesapeake, Ohio.  She worked as a receptionist for a book distributer, was Treasurer for NCEON, an Active member of the Community Church of God, and a full time Volunteer at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Wilda enjoyed crafts, sewing, church music and playing the piano in church.  She was known for her organizational skills. Survivors include her loving son, Charles D. "Chad" Helton, Jr. of Cordova, TN; and dear sisters, Clelia McCloud of Austin, TX and Betty J. Myers of Laurel, DE.  Wida was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles D. Helton, Sr.; parents, Elmer O. King and Marjorie A. (nee Smoot) King; and brother, O. Ray King.
