William H. Blades Jr.

On March 13, 2012, William H. (Pop) Blades Jr. passed away at BWMC at the age of 77. Born in Maryland, Pop lived in Glen Burnie for 45 years. Beloved husband of the late Virginia M. Blades; Loving father of Robyn Edmondson of Cambridge, Keith Blades of Pasadena, Ricky Blades of Glen Burnie and Michael Blades of Glen Burnie; Cherished grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 10. He was predeceased by his sister. A self-employed contractor, Pop was a member of the Severna Park Elks Lodge #2482. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at his cabin in West Virginia. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family.
