William Herman Bowen

William Herman Bowen was born April 26, 1936 in Baltimore, MD to the late Edward and Virginia Hormess and has lived in Glen Burnie since 1989. William proudly served as a police officer with the Baltimore City Police Dept. for 35 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and an active member of Fellowship Baptist Church. In his spare time Mr. Bowen was an avid fisherman.  In addition to his parents he is preceded by his beloved wife Frieda Cowgill Bowen and his daughter Cheryl Brazezicki. Left to cherish his memory are his son Wendell Keith Fowler of Rising Sun, granddaughter Danielle Hastmann of Aberdeen, great-granddaughters Brianna Beres and Alexis Poling and great-great granddaughters Karissa and Charlotte.  Mr. Bowen passed away peacefully at Hamlet of Queenstown Assisted Living after being in declining health for the past year.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Fellowship Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 14, 10:00am-11:00am.  Service will begin at 11:00am. Interment immediately following at Gardens of Faith.
