William Henry Childs

On April 20, 2010, William (Bill) Henry Childs passed away at St. Agnes Hospital of natural causes. He was 85. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he lived in the Glen Burnie for the past 25 years and in Pasadena prior to that. He served his country as a member of the United States Army.  He later worked for over 40 years for Penske Trucking as a mechanic.  Bill was a member of the Marley Park Church of the Nazarene.  He loved his Harley Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed meeting his friends every morning at the Dunkin Donuts on Ritchie Hwy. in Glen Burnie.  Beloved dad of Sharon A. Stag and her husband Robert of Stevensville and Denise Childs-Keefer and her husband John of Glen Burnie; Loving brother of Dale Childs of Catonsville; Cherished grandfather of four. He was predeceased by his former wives Doris E. (Dillard) Childs and Doris Ruth Childs, his children William (Billy) Childs and Marilyn Childs and his brother Tippy Childs.
