William H. Hagedorn, Sr.

William H. “Bill”  Hagedorn, Sr. was born in Annapolis on September 26, 1946 to the late Henry H. Hagedorn, Jr. and Marian J. Andrezejewska Hagedorn and was a lifetime resident of Northern Anne Arundel County. For the past 14 years he split his time between Millersville, MD and Punta Gorda, FL. Bill received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Baltimore and his master’s degree from Central Michigan University. He worked as an accountant for various departments of the Anne Arundel County government during his 35 year career. Bill was a life member of the Glen Burnie Volunteer Fire Dept. and he belonged to the Glen Burnie Elks Lodge as well as the Elks Lodge in Florida. He enjoyed going to auctions and estate sale, attending car shows, fishing, boating and his 1966 Mustang. But the center of his life was time spent with family.  Left to cherish his memory are his wife Patricia A. Nevin Hagedorn of Millersville, his sons William H. Hagedorn, Jr. of Glen Burnie and his wife Tori, Robert T. Hagedorn of Bel Air and his wife Elizabeth and Jonathan D. Hagedorn and his wife Amanda in addition to his sister Joann M. Smith of Odenton and cherished grandchildren Billy, Brady, Robby and Kaitlin Hagedorn.  Bill passed away peacefully on January 22 at his home surrounded by his family. Memorial contributions to the National Kidney Foundation of MD, 1301 York Rd., #209, Lutherville-Timonium, MD 21093 will be appreciated by the family.
