William James Herman was born June 30, 1952 in Baltimore, MD to the late Stewart L. and Charlotte Lee Lowman Herman and was a longtime resident of Severn prior to moving to Queen Anne 10 years ago. Mr. Herman was a plumber during his working life and was employed by Roland L. Woelper Plumbing and several other firms during his career. He enjoyed watching wrestling, bowling, horse racing and watching his nephews drag race.
In addition to his parents William is preceded by his brother Stewart L. Herman and his sister Charlene Dorsey and a great grandchild, Theo Bissonette.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Annette Lackey Herman of Queen Anne, son William J. Herman, II (his wife Dawn) and daughter Jennifer M. Moore, both of Queen Anne. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Austin, Alaynee, Madison (her husband Thad), Gracie, Elizabeth, Sarah, one great-grandchild, Denalia, along with other beloved family members. Mr. Herman passed away peacefully at the Compass Regional Hospice in Centreville following a lengthy illness.
Family and friends may visit at the KIRKLEY RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Sunday, October 29th, 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral service will be Monday, October 30th at 11:00am. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
