William L. Mcfarland, Sr.

William "Bill" McFarland was born on April 9, 1929 in Keokee, VA to the late James McFarland and Elizabeth McFarland (nee Mullins). After graduation high school, Bill proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He moved to the area in 1947. Bill was a member of the Glen Burnie Moose Lodge and the American Legion. In his free time he enjoyed tinkering with different projects such as television repair and yard work and enjoyed traveling.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife Genevieve McFarland and eight brothers and sisters. Bill is survived by his wife Charlotte McFarland of Glen Burnie, son William L. McFarland, Jr.an his wife Terry of Pasadena, daughters Darlene Titus and her husband Gary of Glen Burnie, Carolyn Smith of Kent Island and Nancy Young of Glen Burnie, step-sons Val Mrozek and his wife Pat of Severna Park, Mike Mrozek and his wife Ann of Linthicum, Charles Mrozek his Kristen of Bowie, Tom Mrozek and his wife Kathy of Kent Island, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Bill passed away peacefully at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home after a period of declining health.
