William "Bill" Richard Watkins

William Richard “Bill” Watkins was born on August 18, 1969 in Baltimore, MD to David Alan Watkins of Dundalk and Barbara Jane Cramer Watkins of Reisterstown and has been a resident of Brooklyn Park for more than 30 years. He worked as a warehouse supervisor for Guardian Protection. Previously he had been employed by Nevamar as well as C-Care. Bill was a handy man who enjoyed his spare time doing woodwork, bowling, playing poker with friends, caring for his dogs Blue and Nova and riding his beloved Harley.  He is preceded by a brother Fred Hasselberger. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 22 years Gina Marie Crawford Watkins of Brooklyn Park, sons William Brandon “Will” Watkins of Jacksonville, FL and Michael Kalandras of Caleo, VA, daughter Ashley Kalandras of Ohio, brother Russell Watkins and family of Reisterstown, aunt and uncle Ray and Ellen Lurz of Ocean Pines, cousin Paul Lurz and family of Pasadena and best friend Dave Rickell.  He is also survived by 5 cherished grandchildren.  Bill passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family.

Family and friends may visit at the KIRKLEY RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, September 7, 2024, 5:00pm - 8:00pm. Interment is private.
