Xavier D'Souza

Xavier D'Souza was born in Goa, India on January 18, 1926 to the late Peter Francis D'Souza and Clementina D'Silva D'Souza. During his working career he was a Human Resources Manager for the Ministry of Agriculture in Kenya. He emigrated to the United States in 1987 and became an American citizen. Mr. D'Souza served as a foster grandparent for children in Anne Arundel County https://www.capitalgazette.com/lifestyles/ph-ac-rl-foster-grandparent-1025-20151024-story.html and worked with many programs of the Anne Arundel County Dept. of Aging. He enjoyed staying fit and worked out at a gym at age 92. He also enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader. In addition to his parents Xavier is preceded by his daughter Mariette D'Souza. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Maria Maura Lobo D'Souza of Glen Burnie, daughters Patricia D'Souza of Rockville, Tess D'Souza-Magee of Olney, and Delyse Rickard of Westfield, NJ as well as 5 granchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He passed away peacefully in his home.
